Applicants for some state water-related permits can now use a new online system that state water protection officials say will cut paperwork and deliver quicker, more consistent permit decisions and provide better information to the public about proposed projects.
The Lake Superior Marine Museum Association (LSMMA), in conjunction with Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center, has scheduled a free Evening Entertainment Series for May 17 at the Visitor Center’s lower level lecture hall, 600 South Lake Avenue in historic Canal Park in Duluth, MN. Admission is free Tony Dierckins will present "Lost Duluth."

Wisconsin Public Radio's locally produced program, "People of Color with Henry Banks," will host a conversation with the Duluth School Superintendent and the Superior School Superintendent on Thursday, May 17 at 5 p.m. on KUWS (91.3 FM) in the Twin Ports and WUWS (90.9 FM) in Ashland.

Due to the construction on the Blatnik Bridge’s northbound driving lane from Superior to Duluth, which is scheduled to begin Monday, May 14, the DTA will detour its Route #16 buses onto the Bong Bridge en-route to Duluth.
